An engineering graduate, I worked in Nokia Networks for three years before I joined Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad to pursue my post graduate studies in management. My areas of interest in academia is economics, public policy and public systems.
An avid reader, I read books over a wide range of genres. But my favorites are contemporary fiction and travel. My favorite authors among many others are V S Naipaul, Orhan Pamuk and Salman Rushdie.
A big time movie buff, I have an unquenchable thirst for movies that push the limits of human imagination. My favorite auteurs are Werner Herzog, Stanley Kubrick, Steven Speilberg, Francis Ford Coppola and Martin Scorsese.
